Introduction

Andromeda Kinship ("we," "our," or "us") operates Liftrr (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Data You Provide

• Profile Information: Name, age, biological sex, height, weight, body fat percentage, fitness goals, experience level, injuries, and dietary restrictions that you enter during onboarding.
• Workout Data: Completed workouts, exercise performance, and training notes you create within the App.
• Nutrition Data: Food log entries, meal plans, and photos of food you capture for AI analysis.
• Subscription Information: Your subscription tier and purchase history, managed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Data Stored Locally

All profile data, workout records, nutrition logs, and app settings are stored locally on your device using SwiftData (on-device storage). We do not upload, sync, or store your fitness data on any external servers. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.

Apple HealthKit

With your permission, the App reads and writes health data through Apple HealthKit, including:

• Read: Active energy burned, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, step count, sleep analysis, body mass, and workout data.
• Write: Workout sessions, active energy burned, and body mass.

HealthKit data is accessed only on your device and is never sent to external servers, used for advertising, or shared with third parties. HealthKit data is used solely to provide personalized workout recommendations, readiness scores, and progress tracking within the App.

Camera & Photo Library

The App requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the food photo analysis feature. Photos you capture or select are processed on-device and may be sent to OpenAI's API for nutritional analysis (see below). Photos are not stored on any server and are not used for any purpose other than nutritional estimation.

Third-Party Services

OpenAI (Pro Subscribers)
Pro subscribers who use the AI Coach, workout generation, meal planning, or food photo analysis features send conversation and image data to OpenAI's API for processing. This includes fitness profile context provided for personalized AI responses. Your OpenAI API key is stored locally on your device. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalized workout plans and meal plans based on your fitness profile
• To calculate readiness scores and training recommendations using HealthKit data
• To analyze food photos for nutritional estimation
• To track your workout consistency and progress over time
• To process subscription purchases through Apple

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use any analytics or tracking frameworks. Data is only shared with OpenAI when you actively use AI-powered features, and only the minimum context necessary is sent.

Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData and protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). Your OpenAI API key is stored in UserDefaults on your device. We do not have access to your locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

• Delete all your data by deleting the App or using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings
• Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through the Apple Health app
• Revoke camera and photo library access through your device Settings
• Remove your OpenAI API key at any time through the App's Settings
• Manage or cancel your subscription through Apple's subscription management

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App or on our website.
