Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Kitchen Ledger ("we", "our", "the app") is built by Andromeda Kinship. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

1. We Don't Collect Personal Data

Kitchen Ledger is a local-only iOS application. All information you enter — orders, recipes, expenses, customer names, bakery info, settings — is stored on your device using Apple's standard local storage (AsyncStorage). We do not maintain user accounts, and your data is never transmitted to our servers.

2. What's Stored on Your Device

This data lives only on your device. If you uninstall the app or use Settings → Reset all data, this information is permanently deleted.

3. Device Permissions

Kitchen Ledger asks for the following iOS permissions on demand. Photos and camera content stay on your device — they are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

4. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat & Apple)

If you subscribe to Kitchen Ledger Pro or purchase a Founding Member license, the transaction is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage the subscription state. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device-generated identifier from Apple's StoreKit framework — not your name, email, or Apple ID. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. No Third-Party Analytics, Tracking, or Ads

Kitchen Ledger contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party trackers. Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework is not used because the app does not track you.

6. Data Sources for Compliance Information

State compliance information (caps, allowed foods, label disclaimers) is bundled with the app and updated through app releases. Each state entry shows a "last verified" date. We compile this from public state Department of Agriculture pages. The information is general guidance and you should verify current requirements with your state agency before relying on it.

7. Your Rights

Because all data is local, you control it directly: edit it in the app, or use Settings → Reset all data to delete everything.

8. Children's Privacy

Kitchen Ledger is intended for adult cottage food operators and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the next app update's release notes.
